This upper insect is roughly 2" by 2" while the lower insect is 1" in height and .5" in width
The box is approx. 9" in height, 6" in width, and 2.5" in depth. Within, the insects come exactly as pictured in the photos (this is the product) and are a dead/preserved specimen.
The box is handmade from Poplar wood, and the glass is hand-cut; although Poplar wood is a long-lasting wood, a layer of shellac has also been applied to act as a sealant and give it some shine.
The insects were Hand Pinned into the observed position and left to dry for over four weeks to ensure durability when framed.
