These large old-world Buprestidae beetles are roughly 1” in width and 1.75” in height.
The box is 8.75" in height, 6" in width, and 2.5" in depth. Within, the beetles come exactly as pictured in the photos (this is the product) and are dead/preserved specimens.
The box is handmade from Poplar wood, and the glass is hand-cut; although Poplar wood is a long-lasting wood, a layer of shellac has also been applied to act as a sealant and give it some shine.
The Buprestidae beetles were Hand Pinned into the observed position and left to dry for over 4 weeks to ensure durability when framed.
Shipping and Packaging are done through UPS in order to best ensure the product arrives intact.
